Wednesday Waif

#1 here. On Sunday, I went to visit some friends who live on a lovely, large property where they have lots of cats, anything up to a couple of dozen. These cats come and go. Some go in the house and others don't. Everyone is fed and given basic care. To the extent possible, they do spay but there always seem to be a few babies around. This time was no exception. There was a very cute little tabby girl, about four weeks old. It seems that he mother had gotten run over but that the other females around had all adopted her. She was cute as a button:

This Mama had lost a kitten recently, so that match was made in heaven!

This next one has no kittens but provided a lot of love and confort!

The little girl already has a lovely home to go to, when she is old enough.

The other kitty is quite beautiful. She has a brother who looks just like her and they are inseparable. It's a shame you can't see her lovely sky blue eyes in this photo.

  4. Aww, they're all so cute, indeed. Sounds almost like the way my dad grew up. He says he had up to 23 cats at one point, though unfortunately his off-kilter parents didn't get any of them fixed.

  6. I hope your friends decide to make sure ALL the cats are spayed or neutered in the near future.

Having land and lots of cats would be a dream come true for me.

  10. Those are some incredibly cute kittens!

I'm sorry that I've been absent - we took a 3 week trip into the wilderness with no internet. We're back now, and I'm excited to catch up!
